Berkeley Springs State Park
The original warm mineral springs are centerpiece of various treatments offered to the public in two facilities operated by the state of West Virginia. The main bathhouse provides steams, baths and female massagers for women on one side and male massagers for men on the other. The historic Roman Bath House on the north end of the park has 9 individual, 750-gallon walk-in tubs in private chambers available by the half hour. The park is located in the heart of town and also has an outdoor pool open in summer, a public tap for free spring water and open pools of springs run-off. Budget conscious spa goers love the park’s modest prices. 1-800-CALLWVA.

The Renaissance Spa
Our spa’s water has been known for its quality, it’s healing properties and other mineral benefits. Berkeley Springs, WV is known around the world as the United States’ first spa. 304-358-9071

Washington Heritage Trail is a 70 mile driving self-guided driving tour that includes more than a dozen sites linked to our first president — George Washington. Highlights are the George Washington Bathtub, the Paw Paw Tunnel, and a world class view from Panorama Overlook.

Berkeley Springs State Park is a 4-acre village green in the center of town. The historic warm mineral springs are visible in the largest display of water among Blue Ridge spas. The park is site of the annual Apple Butter Festival in October and free Saturday afternoon concerts in July and August. George Washington bathed here, and so can you. Public swimming pool open in summer.

Cacapon State Park Morgan County is blessed to have two state parks. Cacapon boasts not only a lodge, lake, and golf course, but also miles of mountain hiking trails including one along the top of Cacapon Mountain.

The Eidolon Nature Preserve offers an opportunity for quiet contemplation of nature with about four miles of mountainside hiking trails.

The Star Theatre is a working artifact — a Depression-era mom and pop neighborhood movie house in the center of town. It shows a new movie every weekend and has great popcorn.

Check out the Berkeley Springs Events Calendar updated information on festivals, events, and celebrations through out the year, including: The International Water Tasting in late February, Uniquely West Virginia food and wine festival in mid-April, and the annual Apple Butter Festival in October.
